Once again our leaders are at each other's throats. You would think that over the last 100 years, some progress would have been made utilizing life development skills.
We must get along and get it done.
I am severely disappointed in Bruce and in Clem. I agree that the letter of the law must be adhered to. Clem, unless there was ratification and provision for an extended term of office as President of the Metis Nation, I agree that you must step down.
Bruce, if you were elected fairly by the majority of MN Leaders, then you must indeed take hold of the reins.
Saying this however, leads me to continuity. I would interject that Clem should remain as Vice-President as he was a dynamic voice and advocate for the Metis in Canada. He is also a lawyer and has a unique perspective to advance the cause of our people.
The MMF wants Clem in charge so they can hold onto their own precarious positions of power. That is not a sufficient reason for stonewalling and creating further problems for the Metis People.
All of you do us a great disservice by acting in this inappropriate and school yard behaviour. I respectfully ask that you consider the above a solution to solve our current dilemna as a people and one the Federal Government will be pleased to work with.
Please quit allowing your EQ (emotion quota) to run rampant and utilize the IQ (intellegence quota) I know you both possess to work in partnership and solve the current funding freeze for our Nation.
This "blog is from 2007" and I am finally able to "publish" it .... go figure, do things always circle around .... hmmmm ....
